Response to A Rose for Emily

1. Plot: Conflicts
The conflict is Emily versus society.

2. Setting: sense of setting
I have a strong sense of the time and place.

3. Character: interest
Emily engages my interest because she's a lonely person.

4. Symbolism
I think the symbolic elements are adequately integrated within the story.

5. Theme
The theme is that some people never change. This theme challenge the values that i hold to a weak degree. People changed when they're brain washed. Otherwise than being brain washed, some people never change.
